do you ever take these further (on the computer or develop paintings or prints?) or are you happy with them as sketchbook images.
theres seems to be a strong narrative quality that could lend themselves to further work. much more than my sketchbook which feels much more like studies.
Robert Henri stated, “The object of painting a picture is not to make a picture-however unreasonable this may sound. The picture, if a picture results, is a by-product and may be useful, valuable, interesting as a sign of what has past. The object, which is in back of every true work of art, is the attainment of a state of being, a more than ordinary moment of existence.”
I believe much in life, it's not the destination but the journey and they way we travel is this most important.
