I like sketchbook art. It shows more about the psychology of the artist. I perceive your work as a person who is trying to balance everything in life. You have a bird on top of a piece of lumber, then you have a plate balanced on the tips of fingers, then my favorite is the person on top of the ladder, probably signifying the balancing of your subconscious and conscious life, because you are lying down on top of the ladder. I would certainly enjoy if I could have the image of the house with the three windows. I used to draw houses and smoke stacks as a child. I can certainly relate. Keep up the good work.
Hi my Stumbleupon friend :) Thanks for inviting me over to your site. I really like it and will definitely return. I like this series and the one below too. Take care, Posh Mama
Robert Henri stated, “The object of painting a picture is not to make a picture-however unreasonable this may sound. The picture, if a picture results, is a by-product and may be useful, valuable, interesting as a sign of what has past. The object, which is in back of every true work of art, is the attainment of a state of being, a more than ordinary moment of existence.”
I believe much in life, it's not the destination but the journey and they way we travel is this most important.
